Discover Batesville was created to stimulate the economic growth of our community. It provides us with the opportunity to tell “our story” to individuals and businesses outside the community. Batesville is a modern, vibrant community full of opportunity and we need to get the word out. The campaign has been designed to promote all of the wonderful assets Batesville has to offer in a way that encourages business investment and job creation. It is designed to help us sustain our economic vitality now and in the future.
Part of the Discover Batesville strategy includes the creation of a quarterly e-newsletter. The newsletter is designed to keep readers informed of relevant economic topics, provide information on current programs and resources available, and engage residents and business owners in order to achieve our city’s economic well-being.
The overall goal of the marketing campaign is to strengthen, and foster growth in Batesville. We want entrepreneurs, families, retirees, and remote workers to feel connected to our community. We have built a robust marketing strategy with Discover Batesville to show current and future residents, and potential and current business owners that we are making progress and investing in infrastructure, broadband, a diverse job marketplace, and a variety of housing options. Batesville, Indiana is a great place to put down roots. Our small city has a lot to offer those who call it home beginning with award-winning schools, an outstanding healthcare system, well-designed walking trails, bike paths, main street pocket parks, and a downtown enrichened with beautiful art and family-friendly entertainment. Along with easy access to two metropolitan areas. The Batesville Marketing Coalition (BMC) launched Discover Batesville as an effective marketing initiative to drive economic growth and showcase the community amenities. The BMC is dedicated to promoting, branding, and telling Batesville’s authentic story to both attract and retain businesses, talent, and visitors to our community.
Members of the Batesville Marketing Coalition are comprised of representatives from the Batesville Economic Development Commission, Batesville Main Street, Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Batesville.
