The Main Street DORA celebrated their grand opening on May 1, 2024. The Main Street District is the heart of the Batesville Community, a Downtown rooted in history and commerce. The Main Street District is home to small businesses owned by residents of the community that share a love and passion for the heart of Batesville. They work every day to help build the economy of downtown and strive to make it a place that all will visit again and again – a place for residents to be proud to call home. Welcome to the Main Street DORA!

DORA GUIDELINES AND HOURS OF OPERATION
DORA will be active daily from Noon-Midnight, 7 Days a Week.
DORA beverages must be purchased from approved Designated Permittees within the DORA District.

- Future establishments may be added upon their approval
- Temporary Permittees may also be active during certain events
DORA beverages may only be consumed in the approved DORA cup.
These cups are a ONE-TIME USE. They CANNOT be refilled or reused.
- Beer or flavored malt beverage of not more than 16 ounces.
- Wine, cider or hard seltzer of not more than 12 ounces.
- A mixed drink of not more than 10 ounces containing not more than 2 ounces of liquor.
- No outside alcohol may be carried into a DORA boundary. All alcohol must be purchased from a designated permittee.
- Patrons cannot carry DORA beverages into another business/merchant location unless the business/merchant approves. Please check each individual location for a Beverages Welcome sign.
- Patrons cannot enter a liquor establishment with a DORA beverage. Your DORA beverage must be consumed before entering a liquor establishment.
- You must be 21 or over to purchase a DORA beverage and entering a motor vehicle with a DORA beverage is not permitted.
Possessing an open container of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle may constitute a Class C Misdemeanor under I.C. 9-30-15
