The Batesville Economic Development Commission is thrilled about the newly 80-page expanded Discover Batesville website and how it will support the City of Batesville’s efforts to promote business creation, retention, and expansion in the area as well as help attract innovative businesses and talented workforce to the community.
“The newly expanded website provides easy access for our businesses, stakeholders, and community members. We continue to work on growing, retaining, and attracting companies that provide high-quality employment opportunities and strive to create a supportive environment for entrepreneurship and business development,” said Sarah Lamping, Economic Development Director for the City of Batesville. Lamping stressed that we are dedicated to building a thriving and sustainable economy that improves the quality of life in Batesville by fostering the growth of business and employment and sees the new website as an important part of these efforts.
While the Discover Batesville website originally began as a landing page, the City of Batesville’s Economic Development staff and commissions hope that building out the website will lead to the further development of Batesville’s economy and workforce. With this major update comes more data, more resources, and new marketing materials that are located on one comprehensive website. It’s an especially informative platform for current businesses and for those looking to relocate to Batesville.
